to showcase the portrait series:

We will do a fur-baby story video interview about what your pet means to you, etc. This story will be used to showcase the portrait series at the Heirloom Pet Portrait Exhibition & in promotional materials including on our website & social media platforms.

What's included?

Your pet will receive:
• CONSULTATION: To discuss how you'd like your pet to be photographed. Themes, colours, any ideas you have, I want this to not only be an experience for them but for you as well!
• PET PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: You will receive one fine art matted portrait ($350 value). Additional photographs & products available.
• ORDERING SESSION: We'll meet at my studio so you can see your pet's images and select your gifted image. You will have the opportunity to order more selections at this time.
• YOUR FUR-BABY WILL BE CELEBRATED IN MY UPCOMING EXHIBIT EVENT: When the portrait series is complete, your pet will be celebrated in an exhibition featuring a portrait of each of the fabulous pets I've photographed.

THE CONSULT

Where we will discuss the entire vibe of the photo shoot -- colours, ideas, you name it! This is a luxury pet photo shoot and we will treat your pet as so! :)

THE PHOTOSHOOT

You & your fur-baby will enjoy a fully guided photo shoot with me. We will play, have fun, & create beautiful portraits of you & your pet that you can cherish for a lifetime.

THE REVEAL

Once the photo shoot is complete, we will set a date to meet back at my studio where we will go through all of the amazing portraits taken. During the reveal session, you will choose your one matted print & have the opportunity to purchase more at this time.

The one behind the camera


Hi, my name is Brenda -- I'm a photographer specializing in portrait and family photography for over 10+ years. I have a dual-degree in Psychology + Art with a background in mixed-media + graphic design. I'm a mama-bear to one flerken, palmtop-tiger, & when I'm not taking photos, you can find me making art, singing + playing guitar, vintage thrifting, rollerskating, or dancing like no one is watching! :P


My style is a mixture of photojournalism + creative portraiture. As much as I love unscripted, candid moments, I know most people also want at least a few beautiful, posed portraits & I am more than happy to capture those for you too.


I absolutely love what I do & I pride myself on ensuring your photo shoot will a causal & fun-filled experience, leaving you & your family -- fur-babies included -- comfortable enough to express yourselves naturally, & me to create authentic images you can cherish for years to come.
